What comes next
The Lichthüter are planned as a series of 13 volumes. One volume each year, matching your child's school year, so the story grows up with them: from the first day of school to leaving the academy.
One volume per school year
Volume 1 starts with the first day of school. After that, a new volume every year, never faster. Your child is always about as old in the story as in real life.
Growing more exciting
The first volumes are warm and cosy, made for falling asleep. Every year the adventures grow bigger, the secrets deeper and the villains more serious, as fits the age. The pictures grow up too.
A little bit of a game
Like a pen-and-paper role-playing game, the courage die decides checks and changes what happens. Later volumes add more choices for the child. Parents read, the child plays along.
The moon seal
Every evening ends with the moon seal, a little rhyme with gestures. After that, no more talking. The next story only comes when the moon rises again, so it stays at one story per night.
