About
The person behind NeoTactIQ

Robert-William Kaspar
Fullstack & AI Developer · ML/MLOps Engineer
Fullstack and AI developer with an engineering background and 6+ years across software development, product ownership, and automotive R&D. I design, build, and self-host end-to-end products — from React/Next.js frontends and Python/FastAPI backends to custom ML models and RAG-based LLM systems. Recently completed a Data Scientist & MLOps certification. I combine hands-on coding with requirements engineering and agile team leadership.
Vision
I believe technology has the power to solve real societal problems. NeoTactIQ is how I translate that conviction into reality — one project at a time.
Technologies
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Docker, AI/ML, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS
Approach
Self-hosted, open source where possible, privacy first. All projects run on my own infrastructure.
Work Experience
Self-Employed Fullstack & AI Developer
Web Tools & AI Projects · Pfofeld
since 06/2025
- Dealmonitor — price-tracking web app: React frontend, Python 3 backend, and a Chrome extension. Built a price-detection ML model from scratch and web-scraping pipelines (REST APIs, HTML parsing, Selenium) to track prices across online shops.
- Guardian — a safety button for people without phone access: React frontend and Next.js/TypeScript backend, LLM-based triage, plus hardware development in KiCad (PCB design) and FreeCAD (3D parts).
- Evidenz / athena — platform for transparent, evidence-based decision-making: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS frontend and Python backend (FastAPI, Uvicorn). Custom LLM setup (4 models, 3 self-hosted) with a RAG knowledge base, critique pass, and adversarial check.
- Self-hosted all projects with Docker/Compose on my own server infrastructure.
Software Developer & Business Analyst
Prostep AG
04/2023 – 08/2024
- Business Analyst in the PDM/PLM field: requirements engineering to optimize and steer the product; planning, breaking down, and tracking long-term goals.
- Backend software development in Java 11.
Proxy Product Owner & Software Development Engineer
VAIVA GmbH / Automotive Safety Technologies GmbH · Ingolstadt
10/2018 – 08/2022
- Proxy Product Owner for a virtual test-drive framework: led an international team of internal and external developers, extended and maintained the framework (requirements engineering) for Volkswagen (mainly MLBevo Gen2 and PPE), prioritized and prepared the backlog, coordinated and reviewed the team's work (Scrum), and aligned status and milestones with stakeholders.
- Python 3 developer: automated manual workflows, developed a Python test concept later reused in the EnProVe environment, and built complete tools from scratch in an agile environment.
Working Student
iSi Automotive GmbH · Berlin
11/2016 – 11/2017
- Assembled test setups and ran tensile tests on different materials.
Intern / Bachelor Thesis / Working Student
IAV GmbH · Berlin
06/2015 – 05/2016
- Catalytic converter diagnosis; preparation for the upcoming Euro norm (Real Driving Emissions).
