4. Server Log Files

Your browser automatically transmits data to our hosting provider, which is stored in so-called log files. This includes the shortened IP address, date and time, the amount of data transferred, and the provider of the requesting system. This data is used exclusively to ensure smooth operation and to improve our offering. The data is not merged with other data sources. Log files are deleted or anonymized after a maximum of 14 days.

5. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the Website (e.g. to store your language preference). No tracking, marketing, or analytics cookies are used. If Cloudflare is used as a reverse proxy, technical cookies may be set for security and availability purposes.

6. Hosting

The Website is hosted on our own infrastructure in Germany. Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) is used as a CDN and DDoS protection service. A data processing agreement (DPA) according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare.

7. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
